Carpe Jugulum Book Discussion

We are continuing our bimonthly bookclub this time Carpe Jugulum has won the poll!

Magrat and Verence have had a baby girl and are holding a naming ceremony* to be conducted by the Omnian priest, the Quite Reverend Mightily-Praiseworthy-Are-Ye-Who-Exalteth-Om 'Mightily' Oats Vampires from Überwald, Count Magpyr and family, have been invited to the ceremony and decide to move into Lancre Castle, which is obviously perfectly reasonable. What could go wrong?
Meanwhile, Granny's invitation appears to have been "lost in the mail" and she has left her cottage to live like a hermit in a cave.
