Victorian Discworld Klatch - Melbourne’s Pratchett Fanclub

We are continuing our bimonthly bookclub this time Carpe Jugulum has won the poll!
How it works: read the book over the next month and join us in the Mended Drum on Discord for a casual discussion about the book. In the meantime, you can also post quotes or notes in the librarians ook club channel as you read.

Magrat and Verence have had a baby girl and are holding a naming ceremony* to be conducted by the Omnian priest, the Quite Reverend Mightily-Praiseworthy-Are-Ye-Who-Exalteth-Om 'Mightily' Oats Vampires from Überwald, Count Magpyr and family, have been invited to the ceremony and decide to move into Lancre Castle, which is obviously perfectly reasonable. What could go wrong?
Meanwhile, Granny's invitation appears to have been "lost in the mail" and she has left her cottage to live like a hermit in a cave.

When: Saturday the 14th of November at 7:30pm
Where: The Mended Drum voice channel
Bring: Optionally a quote you like and some hot sweet tea and biscuits, or a red coloured beverage

*hopefully there isn't a repeat of Magrats own naming ceramony
