Join us at our Annual Lilac Day crafting event. We can sing about how they rise up, eat a hard boiled egg (BYO egg) or talk while our hands are busy making fun things.
You can bring your own crafting projects* or just chat with other Discworld fans.
feel free to bring lunch or snacks. (This does include hard-boiled eggs, but your toast soldiers might go cold between home and the library.)

Where: private residence in Pahran, address will be given via dm after hitting "going"

This is a free event with no tickets. We only ask that you respond if you are attending or hoping to attend by clicking on the 'Going' button.
(*Darning mushrooms, knitting needles and crotchet hooks are allowed, as long as they are not used as weapons by the Agony Aunts. maybe avoid glitter)

We are continuing our bimonthly book club. This time, we are following Rinsewind as he finds himself on the continent of Fourecks, where he meets a kangaroo named Scrappy who tells him he's fated to bring back the rain. Will he be able to do it? Meanwhile, the senior wizards find themselves on a tropical island while trying to find a cure for the librarian's magical malady. Will the librarian stop transforming when he sneezes? And can they get off the island?

There are lots of Australian references to find.

If you want to join, all you have to do is read the book and join us in the Mended Drum voice channel on Discord to chat about it. We also have a "Librarians ook Club" channel in Discord to add any quotes or notes as you read.

The days are getting cooler. It's the shortest day of the year, the perfect time to cosy up with a blanket and maybe a hot beverage to get some crafting done before the days start getting longer. Soon, we'll be complaining that it's too hot again.
