Tuesday Thrifty Theater Outing Zootopia, 2 and cheddars

Tuesday Thrifty Theater Night. Dinner & a Movie — Join One or Two or all three. We have three connected events planned for Tuesday, January 27, 2026. You are welcome to join us for dinner, the movie, or the dessert or all three. Dinner begins at 5:00 PM at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, 1140 Interquest Parkway, Colorado Springs. Cheddar’s offers affordable options all day, including the Ultimate Lunch Combo (served at dinner) with two half-sandwiches and a salad to share for $16.41 plus tip, or the 6-ounce Top Sirloin Steak with two sides, such as broccoli and carrots, for $15.79 plus tip. After dinner, we’ll attend the 6:35 PM showing of Zootopia 2 (PG, 2025, Family/Comedy, 1h 50m). Detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde investigate a mysterious case that turns Zootopia upside down. The film has a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie will be at Regal Interquest (Nextdoor), 1120 Interquest Parkway, Colorado Springs. The building has a large Hollywood Theatre sign on the outside. Regular tickets are about $17, but 10 tickets in Row E are reserved for $7.13 each. Please bring exact cash or round to $6 or $7 or pay Frances Farr a check or Zelle at dinner. No change will be provided. Unpaid tickets will be returned at 6:35 PM. The movie should be over about 8:20 PM. For the third event we can head over to Cheddar’s for dessert. Be there about 8:30 PM. This is a dry group, so no alcohol please.
