Sobre nosotros
The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20 & 30-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be a nice person and actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP! Nothing spoils things quite like having 20 people RSVP then being the only one at the cow-milking meet-up (if that's your thing). Looking forward to meeting you all, whether you're a new-grad east-coast transfer or a seasoned SF veteran.

Spring Picnic (NEW DATE) @ Golden Gate Park
Hey guys ~ We had a great Easter Picnic earlier in April. This event will be our official Spring Picnic! I'm not personally sure how many picnic's I'll be able to do between now and Fall so let's enjoy it to the fullest.
This is a ticketed event!! See below for details.
I'll bring a chest full of beer, some wines, and some other fun drinks for people to enjoy.
Purchase your ticket HERE
(100% refund within 24 hours before the event)
We'll have cornhole, Jenga, spike ball, volleyball, and plenty of other fun games going on throughout the day.
The location of the picnic is always a bit tricky to find for the first time. We will be super close to the pin that is dropped via the meetup. The location is west of the bathrooms at Hellman Hollow. We are usually just off the path a little.
This event is always a blast and is simply a massive picnic potluck at Golden Gate Park. Please bring some food to share with the group! We typically go and grab some grub with the remaining attendees after the event as well.
I'll also bring out a speaker and put together a special playlist to blast to the sound of making new friends.
I'll have 2 tables set-up with red/white picnic tablecloth and will be wearing a colorful headband so that we're easier to locate. I'm hoping to secure some space close to the bathrooms in Hellman Hollow. The pin drop on the meetup map is usually pretty accurate.
Thanks & I'm looking forward to seeing you all,
Arthur

Gents Hangout + Social (Men ONLY)
The Beer Hall - Restaurant & Bar, 34 Mason St, San Francisco, CA, USHey gents, this event is a men only hangout at a local beer hall. We did this event once before and I was a bit surprised at the turnout and the great conversations/connections that took place. The goal of this event is to make some friends and hangout in a fun environment without having to act all macho in front of the women.
The women in our group have been hosting some awesome social events over the past few months so I thought it was about time for us to get to know and connect with some of the other male members in the group.
Fun Fact: I went to an all-boy high school and at the time I was enrolled I hated the idea and thought it was torture. But in the end, I actually met some of my closest friends and grew strong bonds with some of the other students just because of our ability to connect without the "distractions".
Anyhow, for this event we'll get together at a local beer hall that has recently occupied the old Mikkeller location. The plan is to just hangout, enjoy some adult beverages, share some stories, and support each other in our never-ending dating endeavors. It should be a really chill hangout and members are welcome to just pop in briefly and introduce themselves if they'd like.
Plan is to kick things off at The Beer Hall. The hall offers a variety of beers, other beverages, and food. If we choose to, there are plenty of other cool spots in the area we could also checkout after.
Parking around The Beer Hall would be advised against just given the area although the street parking does typically clear up between 6-7pm. The location is conveniently located right next to Powell Street Bart/Muni as well.
I'll wear a bright headband so I'll be easy to spot!
See you there,

Academy of Sciences Nightlife (Carnaval SF)
Little Shamrock, 807 Lincoln Way, San Francisco, CA, USLet's welcome spring with a fun event at the Academy of Science. The Academy of Science has its Nightlife event every Thursday which features a different theme each week. Nearly all of the exhibits are accessible and its a great chance to check out the museum without kids running everywhere.
This particular night is Carnival SF. Carnival is a vibrant multi-day festival celebrated with massive street parties, parades, costumes, and music, that is heavily celebrated in Southern America (typically starting mid February). There will be music, dances, and other festivities going on throughout the museum.
We'll have the opportunity to meet near Golden Gate Park at Little Shamrocks for a drink and quick meet n greet before walking over to the museum. If you can't meet us at Little Shamrocks you can catch us outside of the museum entrance at 6:30p. Valid ID is required to enter the museum after 6pm.
I recommend securing your ticket online prior to arrival as sometimes there's a line and it gets really cold in the park at night!
You can pickup your advance tickets here.
Parking can also be difficult around the park and please remember to not leave anything visible in your car! There are several buses as well as the Muni which can get you quite close to the museum.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and exploring the museum with beer in hand!
~Arthur
