This free beginner salsa class is perfect if you want to learn Salsa LA style & Cuban, try dancing for the first time, and meet new people in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Whether you’ve just moved to the city, are looking to make new friends, or simply want to start dancing, this class is designed to be easy, social, and pressure-free.

No previous dance experience needed.

• Basic salsa steps
• How leading and following works
• Cross body lead and basic turns

The focus is on learning the fundamentals while enjoying the social side of dancing.

You can come alone or with a partner. We rotate partners when exercises allow it, so everyone gets a chance to practice and connect.

FAQ
I am in the waiting list. Should I still come to the class?
We try to keep the classes as balanced as possible, so if we notice we are getting too many leaders/followers we move people around to waitlist.
Sadly not everyone who signed up attends the class, so you can always still show up and see if there is a shortage of leaders/followers.

Want to increase your odds to get a spot for the class?
Then we highly suggest to come with a partner (leader+follower), as we always give them priority.

Why am I in the waiting list I was earlier/first?
There is two reasons, either you have attended the class before or, more likely, you didn't show up to a class you signed up for before.

Our classes are free, we do this as volunteers and because we love to introduce people to dancing.
When you take a spot and don't cancel your attendance in a timely manner or at all it means you took a spot that someone else would have gladly taken, so we kindly ask you to change your RSVP accordingly.
