Can the right to privacy be exercised in a decentralized database?
The blockchain is a database. It contains data about all its users and allows analysis of many pieces of information regarding a person's financial status and preferences. The law gives every person some rights in the face of database adminstrators, which might not be applicable when the database is decentralized.
In this talk we will take a look at how can the right for privacy be applied, and how to allow usage of a blockchain even without having it centrally managed.
The talk will be given in Hebrew.
The venue is Rise, Ahad Ha'am 54 Tel Aviv, Floor 5.
