This day and age will be remembered as the early days of the cryptocurrencies era. These currencies (with Bitcoin as the dominant and the first) are here to stay - that is why we should all get to know them and their usage.

In this talk, we will learn what is Bitcoin, what does it mean to own bitcoins and how this all began. We will try to tackle some of claims we hear in the press about Bitcoin, and the differences between centralized and decentralized systems.

The speaker, Dr. Asaf Shoval, is a Bitcoin evangelist since 2013.

The talk will be given in Hebrew. The content will have some overlap with lecture #1 in the series, which also gave an introduction.
