Hey everyone, had my eye on this exhibition for a little while, so picking this coming Saturday to go and check it out. We'll meet out the front of GOMA, take our time to walk through, then can either part ways or go somewhere for a drink or snack nearby afterwards.

Website for more information: https://www.qagoma.qld.gov.au/exhibition/olafur-eliasson

I will not be purchasing tickets for the group, please purchase your own ticket.

**to be on the safe side I'd recommend buying a ticket in advance**

I have bought myself a ticket for the 3pm slot if you'd like to do the same. There look to be slots every 15 min up to 4pm, but if you book a different session I cannot guarantee you'll be able to catch up to the group.

Start time: 2:45pm for the 3pm session
Meeting point: outside main entrance to GOMA - I'll post more specifics on the day (what I'm wearing, where I am standing)
Duration: Approx. 2 hours pending if how quickly we go through the exhibition, and if we hang around a bit afterward
Cost: as mentioned above, I will not be paying in advance for people's tickets - please purchase your own ticket (you can wait until the day, or buy online in advance) - exhibition cost is $33 for an adult
Other information: please where comfortable clothing, and bring money for anything you'd like to purchase

Hope to see you there!

Personal disclaimer:
I've run a number of meetups in the past (in Sydney) and attended many more (all over the world), and I have learned it best not to give anyone my phone number straight away. If you need help or are lost on the day, please use the comments section or send me a message using the meetup app. Also, I expect a level of common sense and independence of those attending these events. While I definitely want to be welcoming and help foster conversation, I won't be baby sitting anyone. At the end of the day, you need to be responsible for yourself - it's just a common courtesy so that everyone can have a good time. Thanks!
