The Mid Week Welsh Borders Swim

The mid week swim is back! We are going to return to a popular spot, Skenfrith castle on the river Monnow above Monmouth. There is a great place to swim above the bridge and the ruins of the castle make a great spot for lunch! The place has a great atmosphere, set in the borderlands between England and Wales, a land of deep valleys, castles and winding rivers.

Meet at the Cafe by the Water Tower on the Downs at 9. Bring a packed lunch as there is no guarantee the little Cafe is open and wet weather gear, yes its a Welsh summer! All transport welcome and we will sort out lifts from the Downs.
