Hey lovely people,

Join us for another gathering of the Queer Reads Collective. This session will focus on literature from South America, with Camila Sosa Villada's "Bad Girls" (sometimes translated as "The Queens of Sarmiento Park").

This novel follows a young trans woman in Cordoba, Argentina, who finds belonging among a fierce, complicated community of trans sex workers who gather in Sarmiento Park. It moves between magical and brutal realism, with moments of tenderness and joy, showing both the violence they face and the deep love and chosen family they build. It鈥檚 raw, funny at times, and intense.
