Join us for another gathering of the Queer Reads Collective. Since we have been reading some quite heavy books lately, we decided to do a round of something lighter for the spring. Our April read will be the famous bestseller, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Our Language Exchange Event is coming up!! 🌍
We will have five language tables: French, Dutch, English, Spanish, and Italian.
Each table will host around 3–5 participants, Participants rotate every 15–30 minutes and you are welcome to move freely between tables to practice different languages.
Native speakers are especially encouraged to join and share their language and culture!

Contribution to Our Events
Starting this year, we kindly ask participants to contribute in one of the following ways:
€5 per event, or €40 annual membership fee
If you feel like supporting us beyond this, to help people who can’t afford it, you are very welcome to do so 💛
If the contribution is a concern for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly 😉
These contributions will help us:

• Cover the annual Meetup platform fee
• Encourage everyone to respect RSVPs
• We will donate 10% collected fees to support Queer oriented organisations in the end of the year.

Hi there sprouts 😊🌱
As a Rrroaaaaring Saturday afternoon activity, we propose a guided visit to the ‘Dinosaur Museum’ 🦖 (Museum of Natural History) in Brussels on the 9th of May. You will receive a tour around the permanent collections of the museum where we will take a journey through different prehistoric times. This tour will focus on the impressive dinosaurs 🦕 and other amazing fossil highlights that are on display in the museum. Depending on the mood and vibe, we can also include a special tour around the other exhibits, focusing on queer animals in the natural world 🌈. So bring along your walking shoes and prepare your best dinosaur-related questions for this trip. Everyone is welcome to join but to keep it fun for everyone, places are restricted to 20 people max.

PRACTICAL INFO: Make sure to only subscribe if you can attend the event. As usual we ask for a 5 EUR fee for this activity on top of the entrance fee of the museum (to be payed at the museum entrance individually). or a 40 EUR membership fee for multiple activities throughout the year. Drinks on the square Jourdan after the visit are also part of the planning (but not obligatory ofcourse).
