Democratizing Analytics: Using Data to Improve the World

In today's data-rich era, the benefits of analytics to most of humanity are not what they could be. We believe the social benefits unlocked by intentional, skillful use of data, technology, and analytics can be much greater, and that the equity with which the benefits of data are enjoyed can be much more ethical and fair. While most analytic professionals feel this way, it can be hard to "practice what we preach." This group's mission is to help "democratize analytics" by bringing together people, ideas, and projects that help unlock more social benefit for more human beings.
