Combarro Beach - Gran Hotel & Park Entrance loop from A Toxa's island

Late change due to the heat! I've moved the existing walk back a week when it's likely to be sunny but cooler. With temperatures likely to reach 28C, I've chosen a shorter hike of less than 9km, with only 70m desnivel. Exploring A Toxa's island, which is linked by a road bridge, we will start and finish at Combarro Beach.

A medium-easy hike, no special skills needed, basic fitness to walk 9km. Bring plenty of water, snacks, sunblock and bathing gear if you fancy a swim. The water should be reasonably warm by now.

Meet in the Pavillion Municipal indicated on the map at 11am. Anyone able to offer a lift please say so (€5 fuel contribution to the driver) Anyone needing a lift from Vigo, please say so! Places are limited, but some of us have cars and arrangements may be made.
I can offer a lift from Guixar station at 9:45am (maximum 4 places - although it's not far, it takes well over an hour to drive there from Vigo.
