Birdwatching at Valdeloshielos
Detalles
This Saturday morning walk takes us to a beautiful spot close to Madrid for a walk through scrubland and grassland. We hope to see singing spring specialities like Turtle Dove, Golden Oriole and Orphean Warbler. There are usually some good raptors overhead with a chance of Vultures and Spanish Imperial Eagle.
Meet at the parking at 8am to make the most of the cool morning. There is lots of parking. It is accessible by public transport and I can offer a few places from Barajas.
Bring a drink and suitable clothing/footwear. I will provide a telescope, some coffee (as always!) and bird books. There is a nice place to stop for a coffee and snack. Guiding is done in English and Spanish.
There is a 5 Euro voluntary contribution as usual to help with Meetup costs. Contact me on 638135998 for any doubts.
See you then!
