Who is it for?
French Conversation Group meets weekly on Zoom. It's meant for non native speakers (beginners, intermediate, advanced) to practice their French and have fun. You're more than welcome to join!
About
I have been teaching French and organizing weekly conversations since 2010 in New York, Los Angeles and London. I am a native French-speaker fascinated by the culture and history of France and the francophone world. Eager to share opinion, ideas and knowledge with the francophile world online.

⚽️ Who will you be supporting at the World Cup? 🏆🥇- With the approach of the World Cup (June 11), excitement is running high. It's an excellent opportunity to delve back into the (not so distant) past of football and revisit Zidane, the Franco-Algerian phenomenon. Regularly ranked among the top five most popular figures in France, Zinedine Zidane (aka Zizou) left his mark on the world of football during his exceptional playing career, and then excelled as Real Madrid's coach for several more years. His humble beginnings in Marseille made him a role model and an inspiration for subsequent generations.
#### Preparation:
- watch this week's episode about Zidane: https://youtu.be/DdMf-2jwoqM (Subtitles are available in French and English by clicking on the CC button on the YouTube control bar).
- pick a team to support for the World Cup
- prepare one or two questions
- (optional) watch related episode: l'Euro 2020
