Playa de Samil Loop from Santa María de Balaídos

This one combines a good Sunday constitutional with relaxation on playa Samil, and the opportunity to enjoy a swim. The route is mostly flat, approximately 8km, of which 5.5km will be walked before the beach before it gets hot, and 2.5km after. After two weeks of warm weather, the water should be quite warm - it wasn't bad a week ago!

Bring water, snacks if you want, good walking shoes, towels and beachwear if you fancy a swim.

We'll meet at the Cafe Bar Espera, Navia. Easy to get to by bus or car pick up from Guixar station at 10:30 (€5 to driver). Places are limited so please state if you can offer or want a lift.
