From Marin circular through Monte Penizas

Detalles
This one explores the opposite side of the estuary from Combarro. With a similar terrain it's an intermediate hike, distance 11.1km, walking time 3hours 15min + stops, desnivel 310m. Sticks may be useful for the climb, wear light clothing, sturdy hiking shoes, and bring plenty of water and snacks. Also bring a towel and bathing gear if you fancy a swim.
The aim is to climb the peak first, while it is reasonably cool (20-22C). Walking inland from Marin, we will ascend Monte Penizas, then descending we will make our way to the coast. After 9km walking, we reach Playa de Mogor, a magical sandy beach relatively unoccopied by which time the temperature should be a pleasant 27C. There is the opportunity to relax and for a swim at this beach. There's also a chiringuito, famous for its grumpy waiters! Then when we are ready, there is a mere 2.1km walk along the coast back to Marin.
Important: If you sign up and change your mind, please cancel no later than 24hours before the event. If you live in Vigo and need a lift, please say so, pickups may be available from Guixar station at 10:30 by arrangement (5€ fuel contribution to the driver). Places are limited, first come first served. I will make my phone number available nearer the time, so we can exchange messages and all start at around 11:00am.
