Ponte de Rande - Vigo loop from A Eira Pedrina - Senda Agua

A local hike that starts from upper Chapela incorporating panoramic views of Ponte de Rande, part of the Senda Agua, and the Camino, including Tapería O Eido Vello after 7km, a convenient pitstop for food and drinks. Distance 10.3km, desnivel 240m, walking time 3hours + stops. Weather should be fine, wear good hiking shoes (there may be wet patches), light clothing, bring plenty of water, and snacks if you don't want to eat at the tapería.

Access to upper Chapela is by bus C3d from Samil, Bouzas, Policarpo Sanz, García Barbon etc. or bus C3i (which runs in the izquierda direction) passing through Travesia de Vigo. They pass Encarnation at about the same time, so if you take the C3i be there no later than 10:30am. Check the timetable from your stop. They run about every 30min on a SATURDAY (note change of day!) so you'll need to leave Rúa Policarpo Sanz/Garcia Barbón in Vigo at around 10:20am (dep. Bouzas 10:11am) The C3d bus will pause at Encarnation (the end of the 'derecho' direction at the top of Avenida de Vigo, 11) before continuing back towards Vigo along Avenida de Redondela (2nd stop just after the Faro de Vigo offices on the left and the Zhuo Yuan Chinese bazaar on the right) The Sports Pavillion car park will be the meeting point at 11:00am. If you're coming from outside Vigo by car, it's easy enough to find a nearby parking spot in Avda de Redondela or park at the Sports Pavillion.
