Foxo de Lobo desde Carballedo - circular por el río Almofrei

Intermediate hike in the Pontevedra area. Distancia 10,8km, desnivel 270m, 3horas andando + stops. No special skills required, but good fitness needed. At the time of writing, light rain is a distinct possibility (<1.7mm), although hopefully the chance will diminish nearer the time.

As it has been raining a lot recently, bastones may be an advantage, and there may be wet patches asmost of the route is on natural surfaces, so good footwear is essential, along with warm and waterproof clothing. Also bring water and snacks.

Meet at the aparcadoiro de Carballedo at 11:00am. There will be the opportunity to enjoy a drink in the Cafe a Chan at the end.

IMPORTANT: If you sign up and need a lift, please state in the comments - some of us have cars (€5 to driver toward petrol) and can help. I can offer a lift from Guixar station at 10:00am, maximum 4 places, first come first served. If you change your mind, please cancel no later than 24hours before - we won't wait for no-shows. I will make my phone number available to participants nearer the time for important messages on WhatsApp (lost, late etc.) Don't rely on the Meetup message facility - it takes too long to come through.
