Sobre nosotros
"In order to meet the challenges facing all of us, we will need a spirituality grounded in the human heart, rather than in beliefs or ideals. One that cultivates the best in each of us, challenges us to function at the level of full self-expression, and affirms the fundamental and immeasurable value of every living being." — Seijaku Roshi
We strive to live a more authentic, compassionate, and engaged life. "Through daily meditation, prayer, and contemplation, in our Zen Community, we aspire to be transformed in mind and heart by embodying the Buddhadharma (the Path of Loving-Kindness, Compassion, and Service) in ways appropriate for our times."
Anyone no matter ther religious affiliation, faith, or beliefs is welcome to join us in another expression of what we all share in common, a dream for a more loving, compassionate, and kind world.
"For in the final analysis, our most basic common link, is that we all inhabit this small planet, we all breathe the same air, we all cherish our children's futures, and we are all mortal." John F. Kennedy, Speech at The American University, Washington, D.C., June 10, 1963

Zen Studies: Becoming Intimate with Impermanence
Jizo-an Zen Community / The Zen Society, 1930 Marlton Pike East # L63, Cherry Hill, NJ, USZen Studies Program - In Person and Online
$15 Donation at the door or through Zeffy for livestreamJoin Reverend Richard Daiko Smykla for Zazen and a Dharma Talk:
BECOMING INTIMATE WITH IMPERMANENCEEverything we encounter—our bodies, relationships, thoughts, and circumstances—is in constant flux. Yet much of our suffering arises from resisting this truth or attempting to secure what cannot be held. Accepting impermanence opens the door to a more intimate, compassionate, and vivid way of being. Rather than leading to detachment or despair, this intimacy with change allows us to meet each moment with freshness and care—because it will not come again in the same way.
Join us for an evening of Zazen, (seated meditation) Kinhin (walking meditation) chanting of the Sutras and a Dharma discussion—both in-person and online.* IN-PERSON at our Cherry Hill zendo, or ONLINE:
