Suminagashi Workshop & Matcha 24.5

Detalles
Suminagashi means “flowing ink” in Japanese and refers to the technique of printing papers, silks and cottons with ink patterns that float on the surface of water. The beauty of this technique lies in the nature of water, which, by being in constant flow, changes the pattern on every second, so the design transferred to the paper or fabric is unique and unrepeatable, just like every second of being alive. At this workshop you will learn the Suminagashi technique step by step, working with natural Japanese inks and brushes, creating effects and unique patterns in water which will be transferred to paper. All of that while enjoying a Japanese Matcha drink. This is an extremely relaxing technique that everyone can easily do without any painting experience. You just have to let go the inner artist that lives in you!
