This Meetup is with the Forest Preserves of Cook County. You will meet FPCC staff or volunteers onsite.

Join us for a FREE 1-hour class focused on building stability, flexibility, and relaxation through the practices of breath-work, mindful movement, and meditation. Liz, from Serendipity Yoga and Wellness in Homewood, will help you bring balance and ease to your mind and body through a series of seated, kneeling, lying, and standing poses. Please come dressed comfortably in active wear with your yoga mat and a blanket/towel for kneeling (if you have one). The class will be held indoors.

Table space is completely free! Food and BYOB friendly. Many food options are available near the area + down the street by Milwaukee and North. We also have snacks and bottled/canned drinks available.

For those driving, the street across from the shop is free parking, otherwise the side streets closer to Ashland/Milwaukee/Division intersection have some permit-less parking available in the residential area + north of the intersection has more free options. Elsewhere, there is meter parking on the street.

Isabel Badalpour has been a respected stained glass instructor for over a decade. Her passion for the craft began at an early age through her father, Joseph Badalpour, the founder of Circle Studio Inc (established in 1975). Under his guidance, Isabel developed a deep appreciation and skill for stained glass, which she now shares with her students.

At the Stained Glass Workshop, students are guided through each step of the creative process. They learn how to break down patterns, choose from a variety of teacher-provided designs, and work with glass by cutting, foiling, and soldering. By the end of the course, students complete their own unique stained glass piece, gaining both confidence and craftsmanship.

With roots dating back to 1975, Circle Studio has long been a creative cornerstone in the community. Since establishing our dedicated stained glass workshop in 2017, we've continued to build on over 50 years of collective experience in the art and instruction of stained glass.

Our talented instructors bring more than 20 years of hands-on expertise to every class, guiding students through each step of the creative process.
