Love dancing, but only seem to get a chance at Xmas parties and weddings? Don't feel comfortable in boozy venues or need to stay out mega-late? Don't want to go to clubs on your own but miss a boogie? This group organises friendly, inclusive dance nights that have a 'no idiot' policy so people feel comfortable and it is not too crowded. People coming solo are particularly welcome as the group keeps an eye out for newcomers and makes sure you get up dancing in no time. Apart from hosting group events, it is also a place to find out about third-party events in the Edinburgh area (soul nights, day-time discos, etc.) and I've created a doc to show events that are upcoming as it is not always easy to find out about these from a single source.
