LGBTQ+ Socials for Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and nearby

No agenda or formality, just a group of local LGBTQ+ people getting together over a few drinks - including non-alcoholic options.

A Hoppy Place have a wide-ranging craft beer menu and a selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. For food, they serve empanadas at the bar, and have a relationship with Knead, a pizza restaurant in the same block, to allow you to bring food from outside. An accessible loo is available with all loos being gender neutral.

No problem to join us a little later than 6:30pm. Please look out for a comment in this event with the location of our table. We’ll also bring the inflatable frog to mark our table.

We will meet near the basketball field in the park: walk 30 sec from Grenfell Park main entrance to spot it.

We can:

1. Play basketball: no previous experience needed as is just to have fun; the area is not bookable it so can happen that we’ll merge with strangers already on site to play (bring your ball if you have it, it can be pumped on the site);
2. just have a picnic on the grass/local tables;
3. use other non-bookable sports facilities like cyclette etc;
4. play cards/board games so please bring them if you like.

Most likely no toilets available in the park: 10 min walk to the Nicholson shopping centre toilets or closer in pubs/cafes near the park
