Hitchhiking in 2026: Still a thing? Q&A with The Travel Club

In this webinar, we’ll talk about two topics:

We will break down how hitchhiking really works, share stories from our **~**20 years of hitchhiking experience in dozens of countries.

We will walk you through this year’s upcoming Road Academy, August 21-29.

Road Academy is our group annual hitchhiking trip, where we pair experienced hitchhikers with absolute beginners.

Here's how it works: at the starting point, we split into groups of three, each with at least one experienced hitchhiker. At every destination, we regroup, spend some time together, and reshuffle the teams - so everyone gets new partners for the next leg.

This year's Road Academy will take place in Turkey, from August 21 till august 29. You're welcome to join!
