At Livecoding Mannheim, we create electronic music using code, like computer code n stuff. And we want you to join the party!
Live coding is like doing a live set (NOT A DJ SET, A LIVE SET), but instead of using (sync) a couple decks and a mixer, or ableton, you use computer code. as you type the music changes and the public can hear it, also the public can see what you are doing in a projector behind you, so its all about skills, there is no im going to record a set, play it and then move my hands. lol
Also you can live code your own visuals that interact with the code of the music and then you can change them live.
Imagine typing words and commands on a computer, and as you type, music starts playing. Each piece of code you write can change the tune, rhythm, or sound of the music. This is all done live, in real-time, so you can experiment and modify the music as you go, just like a DJ might adjust tracks during a performance. It's a creative way to blend coding skills with musical expression, making it a unique (chatGPT)
BUT M脛脛脛脛脛脛脛脛N I DONT KNOW HOW TO CODE THATS FOR NERDS.
M盲n me neither but we have CHATGPT, lol, also its not as hard as it sounds, you can start without any knowledge of coding whatsoever, then later you can learn how to code on the go.
This group is a great fit for anyone, whether you know your way around a code editor, or you're just curious about how it all works.
