Bird Watching in Valdebebas

The next planned outing is a bit closer to Madrid so hopefully nice and accessible for everybody. We will explore the Parque Forestal de Valdebebas, an extensive park with a great variety of habitat.

We will meet at 9am at "Plaza del Reloj" at the South West entrance, and have a couple of hours walking through the park trying to pick up species such as Little Owl, Iberian Grey Shrike, Spanish Sparrow, Kingfisher and Partridges.

Bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes, and perhaps a hot coffee for when we take a break! I´ll bring some bird guides and the telescope to hopefully allow us close up views of the different birds.
