𖥂🤖Trajectory Planning and Constraint Guarantees with Neural Networks
Madrid Innovation Lab, C. de Bravo Murillo, 39, Madrid, MD, ESWelcome to the Madrid ML Meetup! 🤗
Robotics, drones, and autonomous navigation fans, this one is for you! Join us for a deep dive into the future of autonomous trajectory planning, from agile drones navigating dynamic environments to neural networks with hard safety constraints.
In this seminar, Dr. Jesús Tordesillas will walk us through recent advances in safe and efficient robot motion planning, including:- 🚁 Drone trajectory planning with MINVO and MADER
- 👁️ Perception-aware navigation with PANTHER and Deep-PANTHER
- 🧠 Constrained deep learning with RAYEN
- ✨ Recent work on differentiable simulation and trajectory optimization with Gaussian Splats
Our speaker, Dr. Jesús Tordesillas, received his Ph.D. from MIT in 2022, where he worked in the Aerospace Controls Laboratory with Prof. Jonathan P. How. He has also worked at NASA JPL on the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, and later held postdoctoral positions at MIT and ETH Zurich in the Robotic Systems Lab led by Prof. Marco Hutter.
He is now an Assistant Professor at ICAI, Comillas Pontifical University, where his research focuses on trajectory planning, optimization, robotics, and constrained deep learning.
