Join us to explore Buddhist wisdom directly from one of the Suttas — the earliest available Buddhist texts.
In this session, we’ll read and learn from a short, inspiring, and practical sutta called “The Eight Things that Spin the World,” which describes eight forces that shape our choices, relationships, and how we experience life.
We’ll begin with a 20-minute guided meditation, followed by some background on the early suttas and their importance. Most of the session will be dedicated to a guided reading of the text, accompanied by reflections and added context.
No prior knowledge is necessary :)

About the facilitator:
Uri has been practicing in the Insight (Vipassana) tradition under various teachers since 2012. He aims to integrate the Buddhist path into daily life with an open-minded and exploratory approach. His meditation practice is inspired by a close study of early Buddhist texts (Suttas). Uri has translated Joseph Goldstein's book Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening into Hebrew and is currently working on a book with translations of selected Suttas.
