Established in July of 2013, the purpose of BARC is to encourage a community of recumbent cycling enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay Area who enjoy riding with others on occasion and riding in a variety of locales.
The ride calendar is comprised of rides that members create--send a message to Organizer (Elan) if you'd like to have your account enabled for creating/posting events. Advice for posting a ride here on BARC can be found here. Assistance is available and gladly given--contact the Organizer.
Steps to join BARC:
1. Read the following: https://www.meetup.com/SFBARC/about/
2. Click on the Request to Join button, answer the four questions then Submit.
Note: Members do not have to own a recumbent-type cycle. All pedal-powered cycles are welcome, including "e-assisted" cycles. This is not a group for cycles that are powered solely by a motor.

Spring Ride to Portolla Valley
Bicycle Outfitters, 963 Fremont Avenue, Los Altos, CA, USOK BARC let's ride! I'm proposing a new route for the club in Santa Clara County. Starting at Loyola Crossings in Los Altos at Bicycle Outfitters we'll ride to Woodside where can grab some lunch, and then ride back to our starting point. The ride is 28.7 miles long and has some climbing approximately -1,500 feet.
Wheels up at 10:00 AM. Anticipated return 3:00 PM
