👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club — built by movie fans, for movie fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects — we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We aim to support independent cinema—whether at the Prince Charles Cinema, vibrant film festivals, or the BFI. That means we often enjoy special perks, early screenings, and exciting festival trips. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something happening.

Hello Everyone👋 Back in 1988, Katsuhiro Otomo predicted what life might look like in 2019 through this landmark cyberpunk classic. I guess we're not far off as the film blends futuristic technology, including artificial intelligence and cyberware, with a society on the brink of collapse, creating a world shaped by dystopia, unrest, and decay.
The film is set in dystopian Neo-Tokyo, 31 years after a psychic explosion destroyed the city, and follows teenage biker Kaneda as his friend Tetsuo develops terrifying telekinetic powers after a secret government experiment, triggering a spiral of violence, conspiracy, and destruction.
We’ll meet at Victoria House Wine Bar for drinks before heading over to the Prince Charles Cinema (Screen 1). I’ll be in seat F9, but feel free to sit wherever you like. After the film, we’ll catch up briefly and post our thoughts for our Letterboxd Page.
Time for a chilled cyberpunk Sunday.

👋 Hello everyone! Let’s hear it for the King of Pop in this upcoming musical biographical drama directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan.
The film will follow the life of Michael Jackson, with his nephew Jaafar Jackson taking on the lead role. Early footage has already drawn attention thanks to his striking resemblance and his natural ability to capture Michael’s iconic stage presence and dance moves.
The story is expected to offer a broad and balanced look at Jackson’s life, following his journey from the Jackson 5 to becoming one of the most famous entertainers in the world, while also touching on the more difficult and complex parts of his story.
The Plan: is to start out at Victory House Wine Bar, chatting about all these sweet, musicality flicks. We’ll probably start with some predictions of the film before heading over to Cineworld IMAX (look for us in row E). After the film, we’ll regroup for the commentary and **Letterboxd **Review.
Ultimately, this is all part of getting us excited for what’s ahead!
