This group is for North Country Trail hikers in North Dakota! The Central Flyway, Sheyenne River Valley, and Dakota Prairie Chapters of the North Country Trail Association use this Meetup to schedule events and trail work projects on the North Country National Scenic Trail in North Dakota.
All of the group's events are open to anyone - you do not need to be a NCTA member* to participate in our events but we invite you to join us! Membership in the NCTA supports trail-wide initiatives but also helps the local Chapters have the funding they need to build and maintain the NCT locally.

SRV Chapter's Crocus Hike
Clausen Springs Trailhead, 5010 114th Ave. SE, Kathryn, ND, USMeet at the Rosebud Visitor Center at 8:30am to carpool to Clausen Springs Recreation Area trailhead (5010 114th Ave. SE, Kathryn ND). We will hike from the trailhead to see the Prairie crocuses (Pulsatilla nuttalliana), back to the Ladies Line, then around the lake and back to the trailhead.
Plan to eat lunch at Kathryn at the Sheyenne Saloon on your own. This is an approximately 5-mile hike. Or, you can hike straight back to the Clausen Springs trailhead for a shorter hike.
