Support comes from Jinda Biant, who I've only seen once but was very impressed, and Ronnietodus I believe I have seen once before at a Record Store Day performance last year!

Are proud to present ‘Dusty 4 Track’s long awaited album launch, 'How Did I Get Here’ !!!
FRIDAY 10TH APRIL @ROUGH TRADE (Notts)
Dusty 4 Track are a band forever chasing connection the old fashioned way through sweat, song, and the open road....
linktr.ee/dusty4track
Their album, 'How Did I get Here' is a collection of songs amalgamated from two different side projects. Will’s songs, most written or inspired by ideas found on an old four track and Ben’s, a collection of songs written a while ago and gathering dust whilst he was trying to form a band to play them.
Whilst drinking and chatting about their projects, the idea offorming a band together was born!
Their first gig was in a local pub. A little bit different to theslightly larger venues they’d been used to playing in their other
outfits 94 Gunships, HarleighBlu, Spaceships are Cool. A humbling start to their organic journey to getting their music heard by the masses. The old-school way: gigging hard and letting the music speak.
Inspired by troubadours such as Tom Waits and Nick Cave and the blues-tinged bands from the 60’s and 70’s. Lyrics aboutdebauched youth, loss of love and complicated journeys with inter
woven metaphors and hidden meanings.
“Fruit fly vultures circle last night’s wine becomes today’s firstsin”. 'How Did I Get Here' describes waking up "in the wrong
person’s bed".
“Hard breathing on the bread line, soup won’t need my canines, fortunes getting nearer” from 'Get Down' is a song lamenting the decline of health services, recorded in their own houses. Mostly in Ben’s little music cave.
Will’s modest, yet enthusiastic approach to recording often lent abit of character to the songs. Sending rough vocal tracks recorded
on a battered SM58 for Ben to say "I’ll just use that!" and plugging
his guitar straight into the mixing desk for a rough take but then
using that as it had 'that feel".
Ben, on the other hand, is meticulous in his approach to get the tunes polished for release. His guitar parts played over and over to get the right sound and find the right placement."You can pre order the limited vinyl on the night for £30:

Tiny Stills & Cheerbleederz @ The Carousel w/ 1 TBC *Bigger Venue*
The Carousel, 25 Hockley, NG1 1FH, United Kingdom, Nottingham, GBI got a ticket for this quite a while ago but it sold out fairly quickly, so I didn't rush to put it on, however.....
Due to demand this has been moved to The Carousel, so get your tickets quick before it sells out again!!
I'm not sure how I first came about hearing about Tiny Still, but I did somehow probably coming up to 10 years ago now! I was one of the supporters for their 2018 album Laughing Into The Void, so I definitely think I'll be taking the album there to get it signed - I'm actually listed on the credits as a supporter too!
This is a joint headline tour with Cheerbleederz too, who are also excellent, and feature members of Gig Buddy faves Me Rex, Fresh, Happy Accidents and Finish Flag
There's still one support due to be added too!
I've set up a group chat for this at:

EFBAS presents...
CHEERBLEEDERZA couple of years on from their EXTREMELY memorable double show at JT Soar, Cheerbleederz are coming back to Nottingham, with a new EP:
"They’ve kept all the hallmarks of their sound — zippy hooks, sweet vocals, frenzied guitars — but there’s a confidence here. They’re willing to take risks, play with melody, lean into vulnerability, and just be themselves. It feels grown-up in a good way, without losing the messy, joyful charm" - Joyzine

TINY STILLSThey have an album absolutely crammed full of brilliant, super-catchy rock songs. If you want to try one in particular, my current favourite is "Bury Me Under A Palm Tree".
"Anxious indie emo and your new best friends from Los Angeles, CA. Bubble grunge? Pop Punk? IDK we have bigger problems than that." - they themselves
