April in the valley tends to bring a bit more energy — longer evenings, more momentum, and a good excuse to get out and connect.

OpenHack Cowichan Valley is meeting on April 15th, and this time we’ll be mixing things up slightly with a short presentation on a very nerdy topic (details to be posted to the LinkedIn group).

If you enjoy going a layer deeper than the usual surface-level discussions, this one should be worth your time.

What to expect:

  • Brief introductions: what you’re working on, learning, or experimenting with
  • A short, deep-dive presentation for those who like their tech a bit on the nerdy side
  • Open discussion around software, tools, infrastructure, and ideas sparked by the talk
  • Light refreshments and warm drinks

Whether you’re a seasoned professional, early in your career, or just enjoy thoughtful technical discussion, you’re welcome. There’s still no formal agenda beyond the talk — just a relaxed environment to connect with others in the local tech community.

If you’re planning to attend, please RSVP so we have a sense of numbers.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on April 15th.
