I think most of us believe this on some level, and even positive people from time to time can slip into the rut of wanting our own pity party. Instead – we could start with “I really love living in Vancouver” said, not out of sarcasm, but truly looking for something to back the thought up with, like “Vancouver is a great city for enjoying ethic food”.
