Portland Ars Poetica

Bring 10 copies of a poem for this critique workshop, which you will share with participants. You read your poem and listen in silence while participants critique the poem and note their remarks on their copies, which are then returned to you. Then you have an opportunity to ask questions. Please contribute what you can to the pizza kitty. Pizza at 5, poetry 6 to 8 PM. Salon Argyle is located at 2530 N. Argyle St., Kenton, North Portland. The Kenton MAX stop is four blocks east of us, the #4 bus stops three blocks south of us.

In the mythology salons, a character from mythology will be chosen prior and will be briefly described so there is no need to prepare prior. Then a related poetic prompt will be shared followed by writing and sharing time with feedback following the Gateless method. ALL GENRES ARE WELCOME!
