Sobre nosotros
"Don't do mornings", come join us! Meet new friends to share afternoon 1-4 hour, easy to moderate with some more challenging nature walks and hikes plus other arts and entertainment activities. Don't forget to check the day of an event for any changes. Please give yourself plenty of time to find us, since we only wait an extra 10-15 minutes before starting an event to be fair to everyone. We will occasionally post a "Dog Friendly" event, which is the ONLY TIME when friendly, well behaved dogs will be welcome but they must be on a leash and under strict control of the owner. Owners should find out and respect the rules of the park, provide water, for their dog and follow requests made by the organizers.
A $30.00 yrly. donation to defray the yrly. meetup advertising fee which is going up and other costs involved in running the group would be appreciated and can be made when you attend an event. Your guests can pay a $2 donation on their second outing with us and for any additional outings. Additional donations always welcome.
If you have been a member for several months and attended numerous level hikes, or and have led hikes for other groups please let me know if you would be interested in hosting some events as an organizer. Suggestions are welcome. We have many more bridges to cross and paths to explore so come share the journey!
As with all of our events, you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your guests. Hiking can be dangerous and injuries can occur, sometimes fatal. Trail blazes can sometimes be missing so there is always the possibility of getting off trail and possibly lost. Knowing this you agree to hike at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any injuries you or your guests may incur. Into the woods we go!! \

When world-famous singer Marian Anderson is turned away from a hotel because of her race, she finds an unexpected host in Albert Einstein. What begins as a simple act of hospitality grows into a friendship based on their mutual love of music and commitment to human rights. Featuring a cast of four playing real-life historical figures -- each with a unique perspective on how to effect change -- this moving play is about courage, justice and our shared humanity.
