June Poetry Slam at Round Table in Garnerville NY

We're currently holding a poetry slam the first Saturday of each month.

What's a poetry slam? It's a performance poetry competition judged by the audience. We use anonymous whole-room voting, so everybody in the audience gets to decide how the slam goes.

This will be a special partner slam, in which all poems in the slam will be co-written and co-performed by pairs of poets. All slam sign-ups were done ahead of time to give poets time to collaborate on pieces. There may be some limited open mic reading slots available.

We'll also be announcing our 2026 Rockland Poets High School Poetry Prize winners.

Admission is $10 general, $5 students, seniors, and anyone who can't afford $10 right now.

Doors open at 6:30 PM; poems start at 7.
