On level 5 sits an old-world-style universe unto itself—Shanghai’s new lounge, Club Room. A sense of warmth and exclusivity, discretion and indulgence pervade the interior of Club Room, in the style of an early 20th-century private social club. The lounges are lined throughout with crisply detailed oak tripartite panels reminiscent of the classic Oak Rooms of the period.
