A session for talking about the thing we’re all stressed about but rarely say out loud.
Money encompasses so much: it’s survival, security, identity, and sometimes shame.
It’s the quiet panic when you check your bank account. The guilt after spending. The comparison spiral when it feels like everyone else is “ahead.” The voice that says you should know more by now.
For something that affects nearly every decision we make, money can feel strangely lonely to talk about.
This session is a space to gently unpack the emotional side of finances — not budgeting tips or financial advice, but the feelings underneath: scarcity, pressure, embarrassment, responsibility, and fear.
We’ll talk about how money stress shows up in everyday life, relationships, family expectations, and self-worth. We’ll explore the stories we’ve absorbed about success, stability, and what it means to be “bad with money.” And we’ll practice naming what feels heavy without judgment or comparison.
You don’t need to share numbers. You don’t need to have it figured out. You don’t need to be “good with money” to belong here.
If you’ve ever felt behind, ashamed, or quietly overwhelmed by finances — you’re not the only one. Let’s talk about it together.
Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Jesse, a communications and advocacy professional passionate about building a safer, more just world. Originally from Austin and now living in Italy, I believe life is measured by the quality of our connections, and I’m excited to use this space to help people build community through openness and shared stories.
How Does it Work?
This is an open, guided discussion led by your Keeper, Jesse. Each participant will have the opportunity to listen to and share experiences on anxiety, well-being, emotions, and whatever else comes up during the session.
When and How Do We Meet?
We meet digitally to make participation easy for those with demanding schedules. Cameras are optional, and you’re welcome to join from wherever you are, even between shifts. We only ask that you find a private place to join or use headphones to help maintain the security of everyone present.
