Architectural Kata @Trainline

“How do we get great designers? Great designers design, of course.” Fred Brooks
“So how are we supposed to get great architects if they only get the chance to architect fewer than a half-dozen times in their career?” ” Ted Neward
If you are wondering how to get better at system design, this kata focused on architectural design that we are organizing with the help of our good friends at Barcelona JUG is definitely for you 💥
So, what is an architectural kata? In a nutshell, Architectural Katas are exercises designed to maximize the architectural effort, minimize unnecessary overhead, and complete all the critical elements that an architectural exercise should include: a customer, project constraints, changing requirements, peers, and a review process.
No prior experience as an architect is required. Having no experience might be more beneficial—you’ll have no pre-existing ideas about how it “should” be done.
Check our calendar for the following months: https://bit.ly/scbcn-coding-dojos-calendar
We’ll communicate preferably in 🇬🇧, and we can accommodate 🇪🇸 as well.
