Join members and guests of the SSDOMG as we enjoy hibachi and re-discover another restaurant on the south shore!

What is hibachi, you ask?
Hiabchi refers to a traditional Japanese cooking style that involves grilling food on a small, open-flame grill. In Japan, a hibachi is a portable charcoal grill, often used for cooking skewers of meat, vegetables, and seafood. However, in the U.S., "hibachi" is commonly used to describe a style of Japanese cuisine where food is cooked on a flat, hot grill (often called a "teppanyaki" grill). At hibachi restaurants, chefs prepare meals right in front of diners, typically including dishes like shrimp, steak, vegetables, and fried rice, all cooked on the grill with impressive knife skills and flair.
In essence, it’s both the cooking method and the communal, interactive dining experience!

Meeting Place: By the front door. Please wait for Event Host/Organizer to be seated. We *may* have to wait a few minutes to be seated. If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 30 minutes prior to the event with your ETA.

Min/Max: Minimum of 6 total, including 4 members, at least 5 days and 48 hours prior. Max of 20.

Guests: 1 adult 21+ per SSDOMG member.
Note: We need at least 8 people to have one table to ourselves and at least 18 to have two adjacent tables to ourselves. Seating capacity is 10 for one table and 20 for two tables.

Event Fee: $2pp / 2026 Annual Members ~ Free / $10 to become an Annual Member. Annual Member's Guest - No Event Fee. // This is collected when we are paying the bill.

RSVP Deadline ~2.5 hours prior @ 4pm on Weds 4/29. (Note: If your plans change please update your RSVP regardless of the time as we can now access this info from our phones. Any changes after this time may be considered a No-Show.) If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 30 minutes prior to the event with your ETA.

Directions Overview: Westgate Mall in Brockton, right off Route 24. The restaurant is in a free-standing building closest to the entrance/exit to Route 24.
Parking: Free and ample parking.

~~~Please bring Cash Only!!! We are a cash-only group. We appreciate your consideration of bringing small bills (5,10s, 20s) to pay your share of the bill and your Event/Annual Fee. (The only exception is if it's clearly stated in the Event Description that there will be separate checks as you can then pay with your credit/debit card.) .~~~

**Health Guidelines**

SSDOMG requests you not attend an event if/when:
You have been sick in the last five (5) days and have not yet ben symptom-free for at least 24, if not 36, hours.

Please keep the health and safety of the attendees, employees, and our families in mind.

Please update your RSVP, preferably prior to the RSVP Deadline or you may be considered a No-Show. We do have a No-Show Policy which is when you are a Yes/Going RSVP at the RSVP Deadline but do not attend the event.
If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please post a comment on the event page/wall w/ your ETA at least 15, if not 30 minutes prior.
