When asked about their estimate of the number of mobile developers active in the Timisoara area, 4 or 5 geeks working in the field answered "something in the range of 10-15". A more detailed, web-based research proved that at least 35 people are involved in this domain, of course at different levels, starting from owning specialized small companies, working as freelance mobile developers, having own side mobile projects or just being actively involved mobile development on-line communities.

Probably a more extended search for Timisoara specialists interested or already involved in mobile development will easily bring the count significantly above the 50 mark. So there is a community building opportunity here!

We are inviting you to join from this early stages the Timisoara Mobile Software and contribute to defining groups aims, structure, modus operandi, etc.

The group will act in order:

to facilitate the contacts between teams and individuals now unknown to each other but all working in this cutting edge field,
to showcase the most interesting local projects,
to establish and support regular learning and networking events,
to consolidate the local community
to connect it to other similar groups in the region and world-wide
to challenge serendipity and to support innovation-driven local entrepreneurship initiatives

It seems that the ages of keeping everything secret passed away. Definitely we all have something to share and to co-operate on!
