I have a deep love for the sweetness of the Culver City Area, as well as the ancient art of qi gong.... so why not combine the two? Ever heard of Tai Qi? Well, Qi Gong is very similar. It is breathing and moving practice rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Martial Arts and Taoist - Chinese Medicine. It is a way of refining and cultivating oneself and, most of all, enjoying the incredible beauty of the present moment.
The purpose of this group is to share basic qi gong exercises in a natural setting, as is traditional. You are invited to gather with us in the park and enjoy waking up and cultivating your energy.
I will provide qi gong instruction in a playful, free form way to connect to the energy within and all around us. I will also give traditionally rooted instruction in the wonderful and foundational qi gong practice called "The Ten Pieces of Silk," and advanced Meridian Cleanse Exercises. Nina ist 800-Stunden zertifizierte Jivamukti-Lehrerin. 2005 besuchte sie ihre erste Yogastunde. Was anfangs als Ausgleich zum stressigen Studium gedacht war, wurde schnell zur unverzichtbaren täglichen Praxis. Nachdem sie verschiedene Yogastile ausprobiert hatte, fand sie schließlich im Jivamukti Yoga ihr Zuhause. Daher entschloss sie sich im Winter 2010, nach dem Abschluss ihres Pharmaziestudiums, das Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training mit Sharon Gannon, David Life Patrick Broome und Yogeswari zu absolvieren. 2014 folgte das 800hrs-Apprenticeship bei ihrer Mentorin Vera. Seitdem unterrichtet Nina, neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Apothekerin, in mehreren Berliner Yogastudios. Dabei ist ihr aber die eigene tägliche Praxis weiterhin heilig. Denn nur was man selber erlebt hat, kann man auch authentisch weitergeben und unterrichten :)

What meditation technique is used?
The gentle and easy technique shared is known as 'Sahaja Yoga' meditation and is practiced in more than 100 countries and is always free. It was founded in 1970 by- Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. When practiced for 10 minutes a day it can lead to dramatic positive change in your personal life - even after one week of practice!

In case you are unable to join a class, don't worry and rejoin any time and you can always start afresh.

Beginners to Intermediate Yoga - Focus on Asana, Body and Mind
I will be delivering weekly online classes suitable for beginners, or intermediate level. Each session will focus on a principal asana (posture) and using a series of warm up postures we will begin by mobilising and strengthening the key joints and muscles involved in our principal posture. I will offer modifications and variations so every level of ability can access the classes and benefit from the practice. Using asana, pranayama (breath control) and meditation we will learn how to become better acquainted with our own body, its capability and limitations as we progress.
Each session will begin with a short centring practice, allowing us time to destress by focusing our attention inward and reflecting on how our body is feeling. We will apply different yogic techniques as we move into and out of postures, allowing our mind and body to focus and relax. The pace and presentation of each lesson will give us a real understanding of our development as we continue to practice. Each session will end with a long relaxation allowing us to release all of the tensions of the day and absorb what we have achieved in our practice.

We are a real world Martial arts group. \

Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \
We have been around a while. \
Every week we get together and work technical skills and full contact spar. \
Almost all of the instructors have been in everything from street fights to the ring and some still compete in cage fighting. \
If you want to take your skills up, improve your confidence, gain self defense skills, get in better shape, test yourself or just want to kill some time and possibly get hit a bit come on down. \
We will be located at 3923 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 Outside in the grass between the playground and horseshoe area. our instructors are normally in a black and red art of fighting shirt \ if you can not find us call or text me at 6143570295
