**Come join our group of fun and fabulous friends!** **Please note that is a dog friendly event!** We meet and socialize outside on the Whitestone Brewery patio which is completely open to our four-legged friends. If you are looking to make new friends, you have come to the right place. And we offer an opportunity to get in some exercise. The exercise is a bonus and OPTIONAL! We want you to come hang out more than anything. Too cold or too hot or too whatever might keep you from exercising, but please just show up and honor us with your presence. And Whitestone Brewery has offered us Happy Hour pricing for this event! We will meet at 6:30 pm on the patio of Whitestone Brewery to **start our Run/Walk at 6:40 pm**. Please come prepared if you are going to run or walk. It is always important to be hydrated. If you are new to the event, I will make sure you have a "veteran" to run/walk with on the course. Join us to try out and provide feedback on games in development by local game designers, or bring a game of your own to playtest! Mondays are at Dragon's Lair. Dragon's Lair offers snacks and drinks, and they won't object if you decide to bring food from elsewhere. We’ll do our best to accommodate both short (20-60 min) and longer games. Please arrive by the start time, especially if you have a game. When there are more games than players, we'll do our best to randomize so everyone gets a fair chance. Where you'll find us: We'll typically be at the back of the store, behind the Magic, Miniature, and DnD players. COVID Note: Masks are optional for those who have been vaccinated and boosted. If you prefer to be masked and play with other masked players, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. If Austin re-enters Stage 4 or 5, we will again ask that attendees wear masks during playtesting events except when eating or drinking.

Pathfinder Society plays in Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy every Monday and Thursday! We're up to 6-7 tables playing and room for more! So come join in the fun! This is a free, confidential \*\* in person \*\* support group for LGBTQiA+ identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQiA+ people. WHAT TO EXPECT: Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people discuss issues, ask questions, offer personal experiences, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing. Every meeting is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally feel very glad that they attended our support groups. While our support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and allies, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups. **NOTE:** even though many of our support group meetings are held in churches, PFLAG Austin is agnostic with respect to religion. We do not endorse nor discuss religion in our support groups. ABOUT PFLAG AUSTIN: we are a chapter of a national non-profit organization that provides free, confidential support groups for Austin, Texas area LGBTQiA+ persons, along with their family and friends. Whether you're a current or aspiring game designer or a tabletop games enthusiast, getting together with game designers to play published games has a lot to offer. If you design games, analyzing and breaking down a game after the game is over can help you gain a deeper understanding of game mechanics and explore specific problems you're encountering in game development. If you're primarily a playtester, it can help you develop the skills to understand games' underlying mechanisms in ways that can level up your gaming strategy, and see how published games help inspire and teach designers in their own designs. This is not a prototype playtesting event - rather, it's a chance for you to play published games with other designers and game design enthusiasts and follow up gameplay with rich conversations about how designers implemented, combined, or innovated on mechanics in published games. If you'd like to join us, you are welcome to bring a game you'd like to offer for the group to play - think beyond "I love this game and want to play it again" and focus on games you want to better understand or learn from as a designer. If you're a game designer, you're also encouraged to comment on this page with a specific problem you're trying to address in a game, so that organizers or other attendees can bring games that might help you explore the problem space. Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear. Cost is $12 per person ($10.80 for Apex members). Apex is an indoor facility with a pro shop and restaurant/bar on site. You do not need to be a member to play. The purpose of this group is to enjoy the game and introduce new people to the pickleball community. By signing up you agree to be willing to play with people who are at different skill and experience levels, and show kindness and respect to all players at all times.

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome! It doesn't matter if you've never tried story games before or never played roleplaying games at all!
