DRUMMERS: There’s a drum kit provided by participants on most jam sessions. Consider bringing your cymbals, or ask to use the provided ones. GUITAR PLAYERS: Bring your instrument, and an instrument cable. Recommended: bring your amplifier too. BASS PLAYERS: Bring your instrument. At some sessions there’s a bass amplifier provided by participants. Other times, bass is connected directly to the mixer. Contact us to confirm. QUIET INSTRUMENTS (violin, cello, etc): Bring a pickup, a lead cord, and a small monitor amp.

We at Freesalsa Ireland believe in growing the community, something our friend DJ Leo also believes in. **Karaoke Night**: Bring your glee club friends. Enjoy a flashback to your choir days. No chorus line. It's all you baby. Sing. Shout. Scream. Lip sync if you need to. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
