Hello everyone, In this session we will be covering a book by a writer who's considered one of the most important *and* controversial writers of the 20th century, the Norwegian writer **Knut Hamsun.** Knut has made literary history with his autobiographical novel **'Hunger'** where he recounted the abject of poverty, hunger and despair. The novel is about a young writer struggling to achieve self-discovery and its ultimate artistic expression. The book probes the psychodynamics of alienation, obsession, and self-destruction, painting an unforgettable portrait of a man driven by forces beyond his control to the edge of the abyss. **In this session we will be covering the entirety of Hunger by Knut Hamsun Translated by *Sverre Lyngstad*** I expect you all to have finished this book before our session And yeah I encourage you to join and read with us as we dive into an English translated Norwegian book!
