Join us for a **Culinary Exchange Workshop** — a fun, hands-on cooking event where everyone brings a taste of their own culture to the table. **How it works:** * 👩‍🍳 Each participant submits one or more recipes — starter, main course, dessert, or even a drink. * 🗳️ We vote together to create our dream menu: one dish per category. * 🧺 We then organize who brings which ingredients, so everything’s ready for the big day. * 🏆 The 3–4 chosen chefs lead the group in preparing their winning dishes, guiding others through the recipe without cooking themselves. * 🍷 Finally, we cook, laugh, and share a delicious meal together in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Despite numerous obstacles, she fights to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher and empowering other young girls facing the same fate. The novel partly written in Pidgin is both funny and inspiring. The sequel to this first book was published in 2024. It is named « And So I Roar ». Abi Daré is a award-winning author. Her debut novel The Girl with the Louding Voice won the Bath Novel Award in 2018 before it was published, and was shortlisted for several prizes for first novels, including the Desmond Elliott Prize. More recently, her second novel And So I Roar won the inaugural Climate Fiction Prize, a major international award recognising outstanding climate-themed fiction. Both books are available in Luxembourg librairies!

June meetup at the Library. We’ll play games and have casual conversation in Japanese and in English. All levels of Japanese ability, from non-speaker to native, are welcome. After the meetup we will go out to eat at a local restaurant.
