Our second meetup will be to the longstanding live music venue of Blujaz, located near Bugis. I was last there many many years ago, but there's free live music every single night! We'll each pay for our own food and/or drink (let's support the venue by purchasing something), and get to enjoy what's likely to be some swingy jazz music that evening. It is pretty free and easy so if you might need to arrive late or leave early that's fine too. To join just RSVP and I'll help make the table reservation for the group. So the venue doesn't hold seats it doesn't need to, do let me know one day before if you're not able to make it anymore. It is a good introduction to those who wanted to scale higher mountains in Peninsula Malaysia. It takes an average of 3 hours to reach summit & 2 hours to descend. The starting part of the trek is in a fruit plantation. However, after a few minutes of trek, the trail leads into vegetated area although tree cover is still quite sparse. After about half an hour of trek, the trail would lead into the forest into CP1 & CP2. The most exciting part of the trail is the 90-degree rock wall at CP3. You can choose either using the ladder or climbing up with rope.
