Join us for a trail run/jog/walk! Note this is Easter Monday, a public holiday in Denmark and therefore we start already at 14:30h We encourage you to wear Easter / Springtime costumes. Feel free to join the silly pack. Only for this special occation there will also be Easter activities. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!

**Hi everyone** I’m David, and I’d love to start a social bouldering club for anyone who wants to climb, hang out, and meet new people! I’ve been climbing for about 1.5 years, so I’m still in my learning phase, but I’m more than happy to help beginners get started and share the basics with anyone who’s new. I will arrange a meetup climbing event every 2nd week or once a month, at different climbing gyms around the city. This is going to be the first event on a week day. So the time is a bit different than the weekend. **Climbing at Beta Østerbro / Vibenhus @ 17.30** The focus is on: • Climbing and challenging ourselves • Being social and building a fun community • Training together – all levels welcome There will be a warm up and cool down, focusing on climbing and mobility. Seniors with 60+ years of life experience who are community leaders, intellectuals, artists, storytellers, and want to share their experience over dinners for a small group each time. Every Wednesday there is dinner hosted by a different Silver (senior host) who will open their front door, welcome a group of 5-8 curious people into their home (all ages), and share their stories, knowledge, and connections across the table over a themed evening. Each host chooses their own theme and it is the aim to pass on their hard-earned knowledge. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- This week the host is: Karen! Karen Blincoe PhD, has spent over 30 years working at the highest level of sustainability, education and design. She has pioneered sustainability initiatives such as founding the ICIS Center, and co-founder of Chora 2030 in Denmark, and has been Director of Schumacher College in Devon UK. She published her book: **Achieving Sustainability: The Ultimate Human Challenge in 2022**, and helped shape national agendas. But what stands out is her presence: Clear, generous and brave as ever. Looking back on her life, she says: “Everything I was exposed to in childhood - the stories, the nature, the learning environment - became a foundation for a life of education, culture and sustainability.“ But that life did not unfold in a straight line. Karen always followed her intuition, and that led her to places she could never have planned. An evening of good food, sharp insight, and honest conversation, and new people!

Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
